     BABY BREAKFAST IDEAS

Breakfast-The most important meal of the day, they say. I am constantly looking for new recipes and thinking of ways to tweak foods for my little ones. If you follow me on social media, then you know what I mean. Have you ever blanked out and wondered what to feed your kids for their next meal? Below are some breakfast (lunch or dinner-I get it... trust me!) options.

Mix the following with baby cereal and warm breastmilk or formula.

I highly recommend warming the mixture to the temperature your little one drinks his/her milk at. Theoretically, it's what s/he is accustomed to. Plus, mixing foods with their daily milk should help to get food in the mouth versus everywhere else ;).

    • Steamed Apple Puree
    • Smashed Banana
    • Steamed Pear Puree
    • Pureed Fresh Blueberries
    • Ripe Pear Puree
    • Pureed Fresh Strawberries
    • Almond Flour
    • Cashew Flour
    • Coconut Flour
    • Unsalted Peanut Butter
    • Unsalted Almond Butter
    • Cinnamon
    • Steamed Apple + Cinnamon
    • Steamed Pear + Cinnamon
    • Smashed Banana + Unsalted Peanut Butter
    • Banana + Almond Flour
    • Banana + Unsalted Almond Butter
    • Banana, Almond flour, Cinnamon

Ghee-This is another great option to add to your baby's daily cereal. I offer healthy fats throughout the day by trying to incorporate it with every meal. So if you want to add a little more than just ghee, then feel free to do so. I will be highfiving you!

SIDE NOTE: Cow's Milk is not recommended under the age of 1, but yogurt, ghee, cheese, etc can be offered. Please check with your pediatrician to assure you have a green light since allergies can occur.
