Restaurant Style Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
A ranch dressing made with three simple ingredients, which can be combined to give you a restaurant quality ranch dressing.

- Small blender, coffee grinder, or chutney machine

Ingredients
- 1 oz package Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Package (or equivalent)
- 1 cup Best Foods Brand or Hellman's Regular Mayonnaise
- 1 cup Buttermilk
Instructions
- Blend the ranch seasoning packet in a coffee grinder, chutney machine, or an everyday blender.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise and the blended ranch seasoning together.
- Slowly add the buttermilk and whisk again.
- Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- NOTE: The dressing is good in the fridge until the buttermilk's expiration date.
Notes
Buttermilk Ranch Dressing packages by Hidden Valley can be substituted, but in my experience the regular ranch seasoning one ounce package has been the best with flavor.
Blending the dry ranch seasoning will increase the flavor and remove large seasoning pieces.
NOTE- I do not recommend you blend all of the ingredients together! If you blend all of the ingredients together, it will result in a really runny ranch dressing versus creamy. For that reason, I highly recommend whisking versus blending.
