A recipe for fluffy plain white rice cooked on the stove top using three simple ingredients. Use the end product for any of your favorite rice needing recipes.
Place the well rinsed rice and water in a pot and bring it to a boil on medium-high heat.
Once the water begins to boil, let it continue for about 7 minutes.
Place a colander in the sink and strain the rice. IMMEDIATELY place a cover over the colander to capture the steam.
Let the colander rest for about 5 minutes.
Transfer back to the pot or serveware.
