Instant Pot perfected fluffy white rice cooked within minutes. This recipe is great to use for fried rice, biryani, any of your favorite sauteed rice recipe, or a side dish with a main course.
Place the ingredients in the Instant Pot
Close the lid and set the vent to sealing so no air is released during the cooking process.
Set the Instant Pot to 5 minutes on high pressure and THAT'S IT!
Let the Instant Pot cool completely. Hence, valve will drop.
Open the lid slowly and fluff with a fork.
If you are using the cooked rice for a recipe that requires an al-dente texture (fried rice, biryani, etc) then use 1 cup rice, 1 cup water, and set the IP to 4 minutes. Let the IP release air naturally before opening.
